I bought these for a cheap giveaway for a 'career' day presentation for my daughters' 2nd grade class, and was so impressed with the quality for the price, that I bought 500 to use for camping this summer. It was a nice switch-up from the usual "glow bracelet" things that we have done for years. We get about one 'dud' in every 15-20 lights (not bad at all). The elastic bands are easy for the kids to get on and off and they don't break. The lights last a VERY long time. I have ever used them as reading lights. We have bought these over and over again.
