My daughter's friend has a very similar trampoline, so when this one arrived she was jumping up and down before the thing was built. Let me start with a warning: As of right now the Amazon product page says the shipping weight is 25 lbs. Um . . . no. Try about 200-300 lbs. When this box arrives, get your friendly delivery person to wheel it close to where you intend to put the trampoline. You will not be able to move it by yourself. It's heavy! Which gets us to building it. There are two sets of instructions, one for the trampoline, one for the poles and net. You'll be wondering, what do I do with all these bolts? That's part of the poles and net process. It took me about 2 hours (in a light rain in a muddy yard) to build this. My 9 year old daughter helped. You'll want someone around to help you out, especially when you're putting up the poles. It's nice to have someone to hole the pole up while you try to thread the bolts through the holes. The trampoline seems very safe. There is a thick blue pad that sits on top of the springs, which both protects them from the elements and protects your kids from falling through the spring area or stepping on a spring. The poles have a soft foam around them and hold up a high net. A little common sense and some ground rules for the kids and they should have many many happy days of bouncing around on this thing. All in all I'm very happy with the build quality. My kids outgrew the swing set and this has taken its place.
