I was debating b/wn the mini and maxi kick scooter. My 4 yr old is on the small side (41 inches), but I didn't want to spend a lot of money and then have her outgrow it. Thank goodness a reviewer said that at its lowest setting, the maxi kick is the same height as the mini kick. So glad I got the maxi kick (in purple). It is so stable it stands all by itself. It is a smooth ride and easy to learn on. Daughter learned easily how to turn, stop and glide. Have not tested it extensively since it's cold out so she's just riding it through our house right now! It does not fold, but it is light. I know she will get a lot of use out of it.
